Steven Salisbury provided a moment of excitement in the sixth inning of Saturday's opener as he smacked a grand slam to right to pull the Tritons within four with a 10-6 score. Eckerd was unable to pull any closer as they took the 16-6 loss.

Joey Favetta lead the relievers with 3.00 and 3.38 ERAs, respectively. Mahan has 22 punchouts while minimizing his batters to a .186 average. Favetta has fanned 25 while keeping his hitters to a .225 average. Both have two saves on the season.

- Warner comes into the series having dropped two of three games to Saint Thomas (Fla.) University over the weekend.
