LAST TIME OUT: A high-powered offensive outing led the Tritons to an 18-8 victory over Saint Anselm (N.H.) on Tuesday. EC's 18 runs were the most since the Tritons defeated Clearwater Christian, 20-3, on February 5, 2013. The 20 hits recorded by Eckerd were a season high.
Nick Alonzo (1-0) was credited with the win retiring the side in order in the seventh inning with a pair of strikeouts.
MASS PRODUCTION: The Tritons were firing on all cylinders during Tuesday's victory as they had 10 players have base hits while six recorded multiple.
Rowdy Andrews led the way with six RBIs on a 3-for-4 hitting night.
Nick Hill's perfect 4-for-4 night was capitalized by a solo home run in the first inning as he was just a triple shy of a cycle.

Taylor Owens has appeared on the mound five times for EC, putting his career total to 62 games pitched. He is now tied for the fourth most games pitched in school history with Andy Kriebel (1992-95) and is just three appearances behind Tony Capoverdi (2005-08) for third place.
MATCHUP HISTORY: In the past 15 matchups between the conference rivals, Nova Southeastern holds the slight edge over Eckerd, 8-7, as neither team has swept the other since NSU took all three contests in 2010. Last season, the Sharks took the series by winning the second and third games after EC took game one.
