WOMEN'S MATCH 8: California Lutheran (4-2) at Eckerd (1-6) | Saturday - 2:00 PM
WOMEN'S MATCH 9: Merrimack (13-6) at Eckerd | Sunday - 10:00 AM

LAST WEEK: The men's team began last week with a pair of 9-0 sweeps over West Chester (Pa.) and Quincy before defeating the Post Eagles 8-1, but dropped a heartbreaking 6-3 Sunshine State Conference contest at Florida Tech. The women fell to West Chester 2-7 before dropping their SSC matchup with the Panthers 9-0. Yosua Husodo was perfect for the men through his four doubles and three singles matches.

SAINT THOMAS AQUINAS: The Spartans were a perfect 5-0 in dual matches during their fall season but dropped their first spring contest to Wayne State (Mich.) on Monday 7-2. STAC competed against recent Triton foe West Chester in October, defeating the Golden Rams 6-3.

HOBART: The Hobart Statesmen were victorious in their first two matchups of the season but have fallen in their two most recent contests. Jonathan Atwater is a perfect 4-0 on the season for Hobart at the No. 2 position and has yet to drop a set.

FRANKLIN PIERCE: A seven match losing streak that dated back to September was snapped by the Ravens in their second spring season contest against Onondaga CC on Monday. FPU will be playing its sixth match in five days when they come to the Fred Bullard Courts on Friday.

CALIFORNIA LUTHERAN: EC will have a week's rest from competition coming off its loss to FIT when the Tritons play host to the Regals in a cross-country matchup. The No. 1 doubles team of Emily Werman and Gianna Cupo have been victorious in CLU's three team wins but have also lost in both of the Regals' losses. Maryann Aaron and Emily Fridrik could look to take a momentous point at the top doubles spot to lead their team to victory.

MERRIMACK: Jonathan Cheng, Yosua Husodo, and Frazier Springfield will be honored by head coach Ben Maxwell and team for their years as members of the Triton tennis program. The Warriors men's team is 3-2 on the year while the women played a heavy fall schedule with a 13-6 record. The men will begin their Spring Break schedule in St. Petersburg and will have to readjust to playing outdoors while the women will have a chance prior to taking on the Tritons as they visit Tampa on Sunday.

LIVE VIDEO: For the first time ever, Eckerd Athletics will be offering live video stream of tennis during the Hobart men's contest before streaming Sunday's date with Merrimack. There will be a single camera on center court, focusing on one of the three senior players. Cheng will be featured against Hobart, Husodo against Merrimack, and a third date will be announced for Springfield.
