SENIOR NIGHT: Eckerd's three seniors -
Leah Chisolm,
Monique Elliott and
Jana Spengler - will be honored before tonight's match. Â Tonight was originally scheduled to be the final home contest of the season, but Hurricane Matthew forced the rescheduling of a match with Barry to October 26. Â Chisolm and Elliott have been fixtures on the field for the Tritons in all four of their years at Eckerd. Â Spengler transferred to EC last season and has made 20 starts since coming to EC.
GOING EXTRA: Eckerd's last four matches have all gone into overtime, with two ending in ties and two in losses. The Tritons drew No. 16 Rollins, 1-1, on October 1 and played to a scoreless draw with Palm Beach Atlantic on October 9. Â EC has gone into overtime on five occasions during the season and is 1-2-2 in those contests.
ABOUT THE KNIGHTS: Lynn enters the game looking for its first win in SSC play, though all of its matches in conference have been tight. Â Both Lynn and Eckerd have had issues scoring this season; the Knights rank eighth in conference averaging 0.8 goals per match. Â Donish Cole has scored five of the team's eight goals on the season.
