Rowdy Andrews doubled twice and scored three runs as the Eckerd College baseball program stormed by Cedarville (Ohio) University on Tuesday night, 12-5.

Jake O'Rourke doubled and drove in two runs to go with a handful of defensive gems patrolling center field and senior
Lee Spinelle also doubled and crossed home plate three times.
Junior starter
Richard Kowalski pitched five strong innings for the winning decision, beginning the night with four scoreless frames. He allowed just one earned run on three hits while also recording three strikeouts.
Sophomore
Kyle Harding induced a double play to get out of a one-out bases-loaded jam as part of 2 2/3 perfect innings while freshman
Matt Mullins recorded the final three outs. Junior
Henry Langs initially relieved Kowalski in the top of the sixth.
The Tritons (9-7, 0-3 SSC) opened the game with four straight hits and never looked back with 15 hits on the night as each position player recorded at least one base knock.
The Yellow Jackets (2-3 overall) are spending their Spring Break in the Sunshine State looking to take cover from the wintery conditions affecting the Midwest region.

From the leadoff spot, Andrews roped a double on the first pitch he saw from Sean Larkin and sustained what has turned into a torrid hitting streak.
Hitting a team-best .415 with eight extra-base hits (all doubles), Andrews began the spring on a six-game hitting streak. The talented infielder has recorded a hit in 14 of the team's 16 games played so far and has scored 21 runs on 22 hits, both EC highs.
Andrews was a thorn in the side of the Cedarville pitching staff all night, threatening to touch 'em all on both doubles as they crashed against the outfield fence.

O'Rourke lofted a shallow two-run single into right center for the big blow in the fifth and junior
Tyler Abadal plated two more runs with a sharp single opposite field into right to highlight a three-run eighth inning.
The Tritons scored at least one run in five straight innings while the Yellow Jackets enjoyed a three-run fifth inning.
Eckerd will face Saint Anselm (N.H.) College tomorrow at 6 p.m. for another non-conference contest at the Turley Athletic Complex.
