Freshman Brittany Mitchell had a rough outing in the game-one loss. She saw eight batters in the first inning and allowed four hits and three runs in the opening frame.

Rollins College sophomore Amy McIntyre pitched a one-hit complete game and struck out 10 in the finale as the Tars' offense exploded for 14 runs.
