MELBOURNE, Fla. –
Madison Durley triumphed over Jimmy Nguyen, 6-1, 6-2, to place third in his respective singles bracket as the Eckerd College men's tennis program completed competition at the Florida Tech-hosted Panther Invitational on Sunday.
Dylan Randazzo placed fourth and a trio of Tritons came in seventh, including two pairings pitting EC teammates against each other, to officially wrap up the short fall campaign.
Brian Hill emerged as the straight-set victor in Pool C for seventh while
Ben Levy and
Mark Scafidi bested
Kyle Zugelter and Phillipe Novikov, respectively.
Stephen Felman battled hard in his seventh-place match, but was edged out by Ryan Bartz (GSW) to collect eighth in his pool.
Eckerd was also on the short end of its four remaining doubles matches, completed earlier this morning.
