ORLANDO, Fla. – Four members of the Eckerd softball team have been named to the 2026 All-SSC Teams, the league announced Wednesday afternoon.
Lex Difato,
Hannah Taylor, and
Ella Coiner garnered First Team honors, while
Brandilyn Reymer was recognized on Second Team.
Difato, a First Team selection in the outfield, started all 46 games for the Tritons in the leadoff spot and led the team in batting average at .429. She posted a single-season school record 58 runs scored, also adding three doubles, a triple and a home run. Her batting average is good for second highest in the conference, also ranking second in stolen bases with 34 and fourth in on-base percentage at .494.
Taylor started all 46 games for Eckerd, playing various positions that included catcher, first base, and shortstop to land her First Team as a utility. She ranked second on the team with a .425 average and finished with a single-season school record 21 doubles to go with 12 home runs and 66 RBI, which is also a single-season program record. Taylor ranked in the top five in seven statistical categories in the SSC, and led the league in RBI and doubles.
Coiner, a First Team selection at third base, started all 46 games for the Tritons. She led the team in home runs, blasting a single-season school record 14 to go with 55 runs batted in and a .414 average. Coiner also added 12 doubles and five triples, and was second on the team in stolen bases with 19. She was the conference leader in triples and sat second in slugging percentage.
Reymer, a Second Team pitcher, boasted a 21-8 record on the mound this season for Eckerd with a 1.79 ERA. She finished with a program record 248 strikeouts and had an opponent batting average of just .186. Reymer led the SSC in strikeouts and innings pitched, and ranked top five in ERA, batting average, and wins.
