Men's track has strong showing at Shark Invitational

MIRAMAR, Fla. -- The Eckerd Tritons men's track team wrapped up the Shark Invitational hosted by Nova Southeastern on Saturday.

Marcus Kennedy knocked a second off his personal best in the 800m, placing fourth overall with a time of 1:55.66. He also competed in the 400m, finishing in 16th with a time of 51.56. Renn Telles placed 28th in the 800m with a mark of 2:06.79, while Mikkel Paulson also finished the event in 2:14.31.

In the 1500m, Telles took 24th with a time of 4:23.58. Hugh Kuffner clocked a time of 4:57.52 in the same event. 

Eckerd will be back in Miramar on April 11 for the HBCU Relays Experience.
