Women's tennis appears in national rankings

GILBERT, Ariz. -- For the first time in 20 years, the Eckerd women's tennis team has appeared in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) national rankings, checking in at No. 37 in the latest edition.

Eckerd is off to a 6-2 start, good for best start in program history, and has won four straight matches. The team recently picked up a 4-3 win over No. 27 ranked Jefferson.
