Women's basketball ranked second in latest regional rankings

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The Eckerd Tritons women's basketball team has checked in at No. 2 in the South Region in the latest edition of regional rankings released by the NCAA on Wednesday evening.

After the first rendition was posted by the NCAA last week in alphabetical order, the Tritons are second in the first ranked list, behind only Alabama-Huntsville. Eckerd, now 21-5 overall, is one of five SSC teams in the regional rankings.
