MELBOURNE, Fla. - The Eckerd fall athletic programs placed 60 student-athletes on the 2024 SSC Fall Commissioner's Honor Roll, released by the conference office on Thursday, February 6.
A record total of 896 student-athletes were named to the honor roll from the 11 schools. It is the 12th consecutive record-breaking fall for the SSC Honor Roll.Â
The Tritons' 60 honorees are a department record, breaking the mark of 52 set in last year.Â
To be eligible for the Fall SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll, a student-athlete must post a minimum grade-point average of 3.20 on a scale of 4.00. Participants in the sports of men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer, and volleyball were eligible for the fall honor roll.Â
This fall, EC produced a 3.54 department GPA, a record-high for the department, and received the Presidents' Award for Academic Excellence for the 14th year in a row with an Academic Success Rate of 91 percent.Â
