LAKELAND, Fla. -- The Eckerd Tritons men's cross country team took seventh place at the Florida Runners Invitational on Friday at Holloway Park, marking it the first time this season the Tritons have posted a team score.
Renn Telles led the group with a 27th overall standing after finishing the 8k race with a time of 28:35.46.
Hugh Kuffner and
Evan Nobles both earned top-50 placements after crossing the finish line consecutively. Kuffner grabbed 49th overall with a time of 32:29.84, while Nobles came in 50th with a time of 33:05.65.
Liav Vadel was next for Eckerd with a time of 36:42.73, and
Mikkel Paulson rounded out the five with a time of 45:52.92.
The Tritons will be back in action on Oct. 11 for the Ave Maria Invitational.
