Men's cross country competes in four-mile race at Ave Maria

AVE MARIA, Fla. -- The Eckerd Tritons men's cross country team competed in the Ave Maria Invitational on Friday morning, finishing in seventh place. 

Renn Telles was the top individual finisher for the Tritons, ending the four-mile race in 27th place with a time of 22:46.0. Hugh Kuffner was next for Eckerd in 51st with a time of 24:39.4, while Evan Nobles and Liav Vadel were separated by just five seconds in 71st and 72nd. Mikkel Paulson rounded out the Tritons lineup in 76th.

The team will be back in action on Oct. 17 for the Ed Holloway Classic in Lakeland, Fla.
