SAINT LEO, Fla. -- The Eckerd women's golf team used a big Tuesday performance to move up four spots an finish in sixth place out of 11 teams at the Saint Leo Invitational at Lake Jovita CC.
Aubane Statiotis led the Tritons with a 13th place individual finish, catapulting 27 spots after her -6 effort in round three. Her score of 66 is the second-best single-round score in Eckerd women's golf program history, just one off the top mark of 65.
Sophie Foulds was next for Eckerd in 25th after shooting +3 on Tuesday to move up five spots.
Melissa Ball posted a pair of 75s in round one and to help lead to a 34th place standing, while
Camille Padieu was two strokes back in 37th overall.
Sofia Dyhre rounded out the lineup for the Tritons in 43rd, using a score of 73 on Tuesday to move up 12 spots on the leaderboard.
The Tritons shot a 287 on Tuesday at 1-under par, a new school record for a single round and the best of any team in attendance during the third round. The new school record breaks the previous score of 288 set back in 2023.
