WINTER PARK, Fla. - The Eckerd women's basketball team dropped its road contest to the Rollins College Tars by a score of 68-57 on Saturday afternoon.
The teams traded baskets in the early goings of the game before the Tars worked their way to a seven-point lead at the 2:38 mark. Eckerd trailed 18-13 after the first ten minutes. A layup by Bella Green in the opening minute brought the Tritons within three when Rollins countered right back. A Tars' jumper at the 0:45 mark of the quarter put the Tars up 10, heading into the half with a 38-28 favor.
The Tars put up a few points early in the third quarter before Eckerd went on a short five-point run. An and-one bucket by Green brought the deficit back to single digits. The Tritons trailed 55-46 heading into the final quarter. EC and RC once again traded baskets when Rollins broke out to its largest favor of the game at 13. The Tritons attempted to chip away, but it was not enough, as the Tars took the game 68-57.

NOTES AND NUMBERS
- Green led the Tritons with 17 points. Bucher rounded out the double-digit scoring with 15 points.
- Kowalska nearly added double-digit figures with nine points. She was a perfect 4-for-4 from the charity stripe.
- Lauryn Vieira grabbed five boards.
- The Tritons only committed five fouls in the game.
- Kowalska had two steals in the contest.
