Tritons Fall to No. 24 Barry

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. - The Eckerd volleyball team dropped an SSC road contest at No. 24 Barry, 3-0, on Friday night. 

The Bucs started the game on a 7-1 run before Eckerd pulled within three at 9-6. However, Barry followed with a 6-1 run to take a sizable lead and went on to win the set. BU went on an early run again in the second stanza to distance themselves. The Tritons were able to pull within three but were unable to make up the difference as Barry took set two. BU cruised in the finale to take the game.

FINAL: No. 24 Barry 3, Eckerd 0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-13) 
RECORDS: Eckerd 11-7 (4-6 SSC); No. 24 Barry 13-4 (6-4 SSC) 

NOTES AND NUMBERS 

• Stella Antypa nearly added a double-double with 11 kills and seven digs. 
• Nyla Muskovin led the team with 10 digs. 
• Gabi Jedrzejczak tallied 20 assists. 
• The Buccaneers hit at a .349 percent clip.
