Michalska’s Triple-Double Lifts Eckerd over Sailfish

UMATILLA, Fla. - Kinga Michalska posted a triple-double with a program-record 11 service aces as the Eckerd volleyball team topped the Sailfish in four sets in Umatilla, Florida, on Saturday afternoon.

After a back-and-forth start, Eckerd went on a 4-0 run midway through the opening set before taking the set on a 5-0 run. Both teams added a pair of runs midway through the second stanza, but Eckerd capped the frame with back-to-back kills to win it. The Sailfish rallied late to take a tight third set, but the Tritons cruised in the fourth frame to win the match.

NOTES AND NUMBERS
