ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd women's soccer team fell to the Florida Tech from Panthers' Marem Ndiongue's hattrick at Johnson Field Saturday night, 3-0.
The first half was off to a relatively quiet start before a weather delay interrupted the game. Brooke Bisko nearly equalized for the Tritons in the 43rd minute as she fired a shot that ricocheted off the crossbar to end the half trailing 1-0.
Ndiongue was relentless for the Panthers, striking 10 shots in the game, with six on frame to lead to her hattrick. Cadence Talbert stifled three of her chances, but Ndiongue added a pair of late goals in the game. She fired a turning shot off an assist from Tiktikakis in the 82nd minute to stretch Florida Tech's advantage to two.
