DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Eckerd volleyball team fell on the road, 3-0, at Embry-Riddle on Saturday afternoon as the Eagles used a .385 hitting percentage.
ERAU jumped out to a slight lead to start the game before using an 11-3 run to cushion their advantage. The Eagles took the set 25-17. The teams swapped points throughout the second stanza. Eckerd took a late 24-22 edge on a Stella Antypa kill and an Eagles' error. However, ERAU rallied with four straight points to take the set, 26-24. After trading points early, Eckerd had a 12-10 favor before the Eagles went on a 12-3 run to fuel a 25-17 victory.
