LAKELAND, Fla. - After dropping the opening set, the Eckerd volleyball team rallied to top Florida Southern 3-1 at Jenkins Field House Tuesday night.
The teams stayed within two points of each other through the opening set, but the Mocs capitalized on a Triton error to win the opener, 25-23. After swapping points early in the second stanza, EC used a 7-2 run to take the lead before winning the set 25-16. The Tritons jumped out to a sizable margin in the third stanza and fended off a Florida Southern rally to win the frame 25-20. EC then used a late 10-3 run to take the game in the final set, 25-21.

- Kalli Schoning posted a .500 hitting percentage, tallying eight kills with no errors.
