BOCA RATON, Fla. - Despite a close pair of opening two sets, the Eckerd volleyball team fell 3-1 to Lynn at the de Hoernle Sports & Cultural Center on Saturday afternoon.
After an early Eckerd lead in the opening set, Lynn rallied with a 9-1 run to take a 20-16 favor. However, EC rallied to even the score at 24-24 before Lynn took the set 28-26. The Tritons held a slim lead through the majority of the second set until Lynn took a 24-23 advantage, but Eckerd rallied to win the frame 29-27. After a tight start to the third frame, Lynn capped the set on a 9-3 run to win it 25-16 before taking the match in the fourth 25-19.

- Seiler Hruska led Eckerd with 17 kills while hitting .212 percent. She nearly added a double-double with eight digs.
- Stella Antypa posted her ninth double-double of the season with 14 kills and 20 digs.
- Ashley Eckerd added 20 digs and three aces.
- Aleksa Curta (23 assists, eight digs) and Sarah Sampson (22 assists, eight digs) nearly added double-doubles as well.
