FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Eckerd volleyball team took the first set, but Nova Southeastern rallied to win the next three as EC fell 3-1 at Rick Case Arena Saturday night.
After a back-and-forth start to the opening set, Eckerd used a 6-2 run to take the frame 25-20. NSU used an 11-2 run midway through the second frame to take a 25-16 win. After falling behind by six early in the third stanza, Eckerd rallied back and tied the score at 21-21, but the Sharks capped the set on a 4-1 run. Nova Southeastern breezed in the last set to take the match 25-13.
