ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd volleyball team posted a sweep for the second day in a row as the Tritons topped Palm Beach Atlantic, 3-0, Saturday afternoon at the McArthur Center thanks to a .425 hitting percentage.
Eckerd started the game on a 9-3 run and capped the set with six consecutive points for a 25-16 opening set win. EC continued to cruise in the second set with a .400 hitting percentage and a 7-0 run to end the set, winning the frame 25-13. The Tritons came from behind with an 11-5 stretch to take the third stanza 25-21.
