The Eckerd men's soccer team returns to the pitch on Thursday to open the season, hosting Delta State at 7:00 PM on Johnson Field. EC kicks off their conference slate on Wednesday, September 14, at Saint Leo at 7:00 PM.
"We have a lot of new, exciting players. The combination of experience we have in the squad already and the adversity they have gone through, combined with some of the talent we have coming in will help give us a different dynamic as a team I'm excited to see how that all meshes together," said head coach
John Fletcher '09.
This year's squad features ten newcomers mixing in with 14 returners.
