LAKELAND, Fla. - The Eckerd men's basketball team fell, 93-51, to the hot-shooting Florida Southern Moccasins Saturday night at Jenkins Field House.
After an opening jumper by Gianfranco Grafals, Eckerd's offense struggled to find its rhythm. However, EC began to click over the final six minutes as they closed the half on a 13-5 run, entering intermission trailing 48-15.
The Mocs' offense continued its sharp shooting in the second half as they maintained a double-digit lead throughout. EC rolled off seven consecutive points midway through the half while holding the Mocs to just one made field goal over a six-minute stretch. However, EC could not gain momentum as FSC cruised to a 93-51 victory.
