MIAMI SHORES, Fla. - After narrowly dropping the first two sets, the Eckerd volleyball rallied to dominate the third set, 25-7, but ultimately fell, 3-1, on the road at No. 18 Barry Saturday afternoon.
EC and Barry stayed within a few points of each other throughout the opening set. The teams were knotted up at 23-23 before Barry got back-to-back points to win the opener 25-23. Barry jumped out early in the second stanza and maintained a slim lead during the set, taking the frame 25-17. The Tritons rallied in the third set, using a 20-4 stretch to end the frame taking it dominantly, 25-7. BU used an 8-2 run midway through the fourth stanza to distance themselves before taking the match, 25-17.

NOTES AND NUMBERS
- Joelle Coulter led Eckerd with an 18-kill, 12-dig double-double.
- Stella Antypa nearly logged a double-double as well, with a career-high 15 kills and nine digs.
- Both Antypa and Coulter posted high-hitting percentages with .424 and .326 percentages, respectively.
- Coulter's 12 digs move her over the 500-dig mark for her Triton career at 507.
- Krysten Garrison added 41 assists and seven digs.
