WINTER PARK, Fla. - The Eckerd volleyball team hit at an impressive .363 percent clip on the way to a straight sets victory at Rollins Saturday afternoon.
Eckerd jumped out to an early lead in the first set, stayed in front the rest of the way, and won the frame with four straight points, 25-17. Eckerd used an early 8-3 run to take a short lead in the second stanza before winning the set on a 7-2 run, 25-18. The teams swapped points throughout the third set before the Tritons rolled off three straight points to win the match, 28-26.

NOTES AND NUMBERS

- Joelle Coulter led Eckerd with 15 kills, while Anna Jungjohann and Nyla Muskovin added 12 and 10, respectively.
- Coulter hit an impressive .519 percent, committing just one error on 27 swings, while Jungjohann hit .500.
