DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Embry-Riddle used an efficient offensive attack against the Eckerd volleyball team Friday night as the Tritons fell in four sets, 3-1, at the ICI Center.
ERAU took an early lead in the opening set, but EC rolled off five consecutive points to take an 18-15 lead. However, the Eagles stayed close and took the set on three straight points, 28-26. After a tight start to the second set, the Eagles used a 13-4 run to cap the set, 25-16. The Tritons rallied to win the third stanza, 25-19, using a 4-1 stretch to end the set. In the final frame, the teams swapped points, but ERAU used a seven-point run to take a 10-point lead before winning the match, 25-19.Â
