ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Nova Southeastern used an efficient offensive attack against the Eckerd volleyball team as the Tritons fell in straight sets in Sunshine State Conference play at the McArthur Center Friday night.
NSU jumped out to an early lead in the opening set before using an 8-1 stretch midway through to distance themselves before taking the set, 25-14. The teams remained within two points of each other for the majority of the second set before the Sharks used a 10-2 run to win the set 25-19. The Sharks used an early run in the final set before cruising to a 25-14 victory.

NOTES AND NUMBERS
- Nicki Bechtold and Krysten Garrison both recorded a pair of aces.
- Garrison also posted 15 assists.
- NSU hit an impressive .417 percent.
- Joelle Coulter led the Eckerd attack with six kills. She also paced the back row with six digs.
