7/23 - Women's 470 Coaches Regatta - women's prep on the course before racing.Â
7/24 - Lara walks in the front row during the opening ceremony. Seen beside USA Flag bearer Sue Bird.Â
7/27-28- Race Day One - Dallman-Weiss and Barnes make their Olympic debut as the Women's 470 event officially kicked off with a start time of 1:30 AM (EST). The duo finished the opening race in 13th but rallied for a 6th place finish in race two. After day one the tandem sits eighth overall with 19 points. Poland leads the 21 team field following a first-place finish in the opening two races. Winds ranged from 15-17 knots. (Picture)
7/28 - Race Day Two - Dallman-Weiss and Barnes placed 15th in the third race and 13th in the fourth race. The team sits in 13th place overall after the first two days of racing with 32 points. Poland still leads the field with four points. Winds ranged from 9-13 knotsÂ
7/29 - Race Day Three - The duo had their best day yet on the water allowing them to vault up four slots on the leader board to 9th place (43 points). Battling through lighter wind (7 knots) they placed sixth in the fifth race and fifth in the sixth race. The women's 470 class has a day off before heading back on the water on Saturday. Poland still sits atop the leader board with 10 points. (Pictures)
7/31 - Race Day Four - The pair had a tough time getting started in the first race of the day (race 7), ultimately finishing 19th. However, the tandem stormed back in the eighth race for their best performance of the regatta with a second-place finish. The pair holds steady with a ninth place overall standing heading into the final two races before the medal race. Great Britain took over the leader board with 17 points just one point ahead of Poland.  Winds ranged from 9-12 knots over both races.Â
8/1 - Race Day Five - Enoshima Bay had light winds today, forcing races 9 and 10 to be pushed back a day.Â
8/2 - Race Day Six - Dallman-Weiss '11 and Barnes received a UFD for race 9 and finished race 10 19th. The duo finished 12th overall with 98 points. Â
RESULTSÂ - Each team drops their lowest finish and the top 10 teams compete in the medal race in August 4.Â
