ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.- Eckerd men's basketball alumn, Admir Radoncic '20, recently inked a professional contract for the upcoming 2020-21 season.
Radoncic signed with BKG Prima SE of the Hungary B Division, based in Debrecen. He becomes the seventh Triton in the last nine years to sign a professional contract.
"I'm very thankful for the opportunity. Without God, family, and all of my coaches, I don't know if I would be in this position," said Radoncic. "I've always dedicated myself to working hard to achieve my goals, so I'm just excited to see where this path leads me."
Radoncic was part of two Sunshine State Conference Championships and three NCAA Tournament appearances in his time as a Triton. In the 2019-20 season, he averaged 15.2 points and 7.1 rebounds per game with a team-leading 59.9 field goal percentage. He was named the SSC Defensive Player of the Week to end the season.
