MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – The Eckerd women's soccer team dropped an SSC matchup in overtime, 3-2, against Barry Saturday night at Buccaneer Field.

KEY MOMENTS
- The Buccaneers got on the board first with a goal in the 35th minute from Ari Cerezuela. Sarah Wignall fired a shot that was deflected by Casey Winn, and Cerezuela was there to finish it off to take a 1-0 lead.
- Two minutes later, Victoria Grant put one in the back of the net for the Tritons to tie the match at 1-1 just before the end of the first half. Grant intercepted a ball from the Bucs' defense and scored to the far post.
- Eckerd took the lead in the 79th minute with an Alyssa Farmer goal to put the Tritons up 2-1.
- Barry struck back three minutes later with a goal from Sophia Sharos to even the score at 2-2 just before the end of the regulation.
- Just three minutes into overtime, Buccaneers' Sarah Wignall buried a shot to end the match, 3-2.
NOTES AND NUMBERS
- Farmer's goal in the 79th minute was the first of her career.
- Grant's goal was her fifth of the season.
- Winn set a career-high with 16 saves in goal.
- A red card was shown to Hajar Benjoud causing the Tritons to play a woman down in the 77th minute.
