DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Embry-Riddle used an efficient offensive attack against the Eckerd volleyball team Friday night as the Tritons fell in straight sets at the ICI Center.

KEY MOMENTS
- Embry-Riddle jumped out to an early 7-2 lead in the opening set. The Eagles stayed in front the rest of the way and used a late 12-1 run to distance themselves before taking the set at 25-8.
- The teams opened the second set tight before ERAU took a 12-5 lead following a run of seven straight points. Eckerd responded with a 5-0 scoring run capped by an Asya Harris kill to pull within three at 16-13. The Tritons stayed within three points over the next several rallies before the Eagles finished the set on a 7-2 run to take the set, 25-18.
- The teams swapped rallies over the beginning of the third set before EC took a slight 10-8 edge on a Fernanda Reis ace. The Eagles responded to pull ahead at 15-13 and maintained a two-point lead over the next stretch. The Tritons managed to pull within one on a Harris kill at 20-19 before ERAU ended the match at 25-19 with five straight points.
NOTES AND NUMBERS
- Reis reached 2,000 career assists in the match, which currently ranks seventh in program history.
- Harris led the Eckerd attack with 13 kills.
- Luana Rezende led the Triton defense with 20 digs while Agata Sklepik added 11.
- EC hit a season-low .051 in the match while the Eagles hit .308.
