ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The Eckerd women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision in a non-conference match against Flagler (Fla.) on Tuesday night at Johnson Field on Senior Night.

KEY MOMENTS
- Eckerd had an early look on goal in the 15th minute as Stephanie Linton and Lashanti Williams fired off consecutive shots. However, Linton's shot was blocked while Williams' missed just wide.
- Keeper Casey Winn came up with a big save just a minute later as Sara Sandberg had an open look on goal from close range where Winn made a diving stop to prevent the goal. The Saints later worked the ball into the box in the 26th minute, and this time Sandberg sent a short pass to Conception Sanchez near the top of the six-yard box. With Winn committed to Sandberg at close range, Sanchez one-touched the pass into the center of the net for the opening goal.
- The Tritons were unable to take another look on goal as they entered the half trailing 1-0. Neither team generated much in the way of scoring opportunities in the first half with a combined total of seven shots.
- Flagler added to its lead in the 78th minute as Matia Castorino Mujica took a cross from the far right wing and sent in the goal with a shot to the left side.
- Eckerd took one last look on goal just 30 seconds later but Cameron Westmoreland's shot from distance was turned back by keeper Sarah-Lisa Dubel.
NOTES AND NUMBERS
- The Saints held a 13-3 advantage in shots and 3-1 edge in shots on goal.
- Winn collected five saves in goal.
- Before the game, Eckerd honored its two seniors: Johanna Andersson and Haley Knowles. Both played the full 90 minutes in tonight's match.
