WOMEN'S SOCCER GAMEDAY: Tritons Wrap Up Season by Hosting Barry

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd women's soccer team wraps up its 2016 season tonight at Johnson Field, hosting Barry University at 7:00 PM.

GAME 18: Eckerd (7-8-2, 2-4-2 SSC) vs. Barry (7-2-2, 4-2-1 SSC) | 7:00 PM | Johnson Field

END OF THE LINE: With the Tritons eliminated from receiving a spot in the SSC Tournament, tonight will mark the final college contest for EC's three seniors: Monique Elliott, Leah Chisolm and Jana Spengler.  Even with a win tonight, Eckerd would finish a point away from earning a bid to the conference tournament.

GOING FOR A RECORD: Freshman goalkeeper Casey Winn can tie the EC women's soccer program record for the most clean sheets in a season tonight if she and the Triton defense can keep Barry off the scoreboard.  Winn has posted six shutouts this season, needing one more to tie Morgan Crescent's mark of seven as the most in program history for a single season.

ABOUT BARRY: The Bucs have already clinched a spot in the SSC Tournament and with a win tonight could finish as high as third.  Barry is riding a five-match unbeaten streak entering the contest and has not allowed a goal in the last 259 minutes it has played.  Molly Sharpe, Carissa Sanchez and Amanda Traynor are the team's most potent offensive threats.
