LAST TIME THEY MET: A torrential downpour midway through the first half resulted in a lengthy delay and wet conditions when the two teams met in St. Petersburg on September 21. Â FSC got a goal from Anna Griessler in the 32nd minute for what proved to be the only one of the match as the Mocs scored a 1-0 win. Â The first meeting was part of the conference schedule; tonight's will be a non-conference contest.
WIN OVER LYNN: The Tritons picked up a 2-0 victory over Lynn University on Saturday, breaking a string of four consecutive overtime matches. Â
Olivia Ross-Johnson scored both of EC's goals, bringing her season total to seven which is tied for fourth in the conference. Â
Casey Winn, meanwhile, recorded her fifth clean sheet of the season, tied for first in the SSC.
ABOUT THE MOCS: Tonight's match marks the first in a five-match home stand to close the regular season for Florida Southern. Â Scoring goals has been a problem this season for the Mocs, who enter tonight with only four goals scored on the season and no more than one goal in any match. Â However, FSC has been very good defensively allowing an average of 1.38 goals per match with no opponent scoring more than twice against them.
