SPARTANS ERASED: On Tuesday, the Tritons dominated the majority of their match with No. 23 Tampa and walked away with a 3-1 win over the Spartans to earn a vital three points in a tight race in the SSC standings.  The German trio of Robert Labus, Moritz Hannemann and Michael Molata netted Eckerd's goals in the victory.

FIGHT FOR THE POSTSEASON: As the final weeks of conference play approach, the race for a spot in the SSC tournament is heating up.  The Tritons enter today's contest in a three-way tie for fifth place with seven points.  Eckerd has four matches remaining as it looks to clinch a spot in the top six for a postseason berth.

ABOUT THE KNIGHTS: Lynn currently sits atop the SSC among teams eligible for the regular season championship and trails Palm Beach Atlantic (which is only eligible for the tournament championship) by three points.  As usual, the Knights feature a stout offense that averages nearly three goals per game.  Jack Watson leads the conference in goals (12).  Lynn's only loss came in the form of a 3-0 shutout by then-No. 11 Barry, while the team has scored wins over four top-25 opponents during the season including a 2-1 win over then-No. 1 Pfeiffer (N.C.).
