ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd Triton women's soccer team will attempt to stay unbeaten on the season as they host a future member of the Sunshine State Conference on Thursday night when Palm Beach Atlantic comes to the Turley Athletic Complex for a 7:00 PM kickoff.

Leah Chisolm,
Alice Wader and
Shannon Estes-Larkin and several impressive saves by
Angelique Ulmer. PBAU (2-0) scored a 5-0 win in its opening over Chestnut Hill College, then followed with a 2-1 overtime win over Maryville University. Both teams will try to avoid suffering their first loss of the season.
LAST TIME THEY METEckerd held a 12-11 edge in shots, but the Sailfish made better of their chances to score a 3-0 win over the Tritons on Sept. 16, 2014, in West Palm Beach. PBAU struck in the 2nd minute to take an early lead, then tacked on two more scores in the second half. Eckerd leads the all-time series, 8-5.
CAREER FIRSTSTwo Tritons - one junior and one freshman - scored their first career collegiate goals in Monday's win over SEU. Junior defender
Leah Chisolm bent a shot in from the right corner to open the scoring in the 44th minute. Freshman winger
Alice Wader followed with her first goal in the 58th minute, finishing off a pass from
Jana Spengler to the right post.
CLEAN SHEETJunior goalkeeper
Angelique Ulmer didn't take long to post her first clean sheet as a Triton, stopping six shots in Monday's 3-0 win. Of those six saves, two were in one-on-one situations and another saw her punch a high shot over the crossbar as time closed in the first half.
WELCOME TO THE SSCPalm Beach Atlantic is already a familiar opponent to Eckerd, and will soon be a conference opponent as well. The Sailfish, along with Embry-Riddle, are in the first year of provisional membership in the Sunshine State Conference.
