ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd College men's basketball team will attempt to tie a program record today as the Tritons play host to Eastern New Mexico University at 2:00 PM.

Live VideoABOUT THE GREYHOUNDS- Today's game will be the third of four for ENMU against schools from the Sunshine State Conference. The Greyhounds hold a 78-67 win over Nova Southeastern on November 28 and are coming off a 100-90 loss to Florida Southern on December 17. They will face both Eckerd and the University of Tampa over the weekend.
- ENMU placed five in double-figures in Thursday's loss to Florida Southern, led by 19 from Javaan Mumtaz. Lawrence Domingo recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
- The Greyhounds have been without leading scorer John Gilliam in their last two games. The 6-foot-3 senior averages 18.4 points per game and is the only player on the team averaging in double figures.
ABOUT THE TRITONS- Eckerd scored its 10th straight win on Wednesday night, knocking off Miles (Ala.) College 70-46. The winning streak is currently the second-longest in program history, one short of the record off 11 consecutive wins set during the 1972-73 season.
- On Tuesday, Eckerd vaulted into the national rankings in both the NABC and the D2SIDA polls on the strength of a 9-1 start. The Tritons enter the day ranked No. 12 in the D2SIDA media poll and No. 21 in the NABC coaches poll.
- The Tritons rank among the top teams in Division II in several categories including free throws made (238, 4th) , free throws attempted (336, 5th), rebounding margin (+7.5, 24th), scoring margin (+14.0, 27th) and scoring defense (67.6, 37th).
- Balance has been a calling card for the Tritons this season on offense with four players averaging in double figures entering the weekend. Senior

- Today's game is part of the Tampa Classic and was initially scheduled to be played at the University of Tampa. However, it was moved to Eckerd after a scheduling conflict at UT.
