ABOUT THE PANTHERS
- Florida Tech has been on a roll to start the season, with its only loss coming on the road against Embry-Riddle on November 21.  The Panthers enter tonight's game having won three straight, including a pair of wins at their own Thanksgiving Classic over the weekend.  They knocked off Tampa, 68-61, on the road to open conference play.
- FIT has enjoyed the luxury of playing at home quite frequently thus far with six of its seven games taking place in Melbourne.  The team is 5-1 at home and 1-0 on the road, with its only road game coming against Tampa.
- The Panthers have been an efficient shooting team this season, making 48.9 percent from the field.  Three players have contributed heavily to that number - Corbin Jackson, Jermohn Queen and Sam Daniel.  Jackson shoots 64.7 percent from the floor and has been a force inside, averaging a double-double with 13.8 points and 10.8 rebounds per game.  He posted five straight double-doubles before leaving Friday's game with UPR-Rio Pedras in the first half.
- Three other Panthers average in double figures: Daniel (12.7 ppg), Patrick Anderson (11.9 ppg) and Randy Echols (10.9 ppg).  Echols in particular is a dangerous perimeter shooter, knocking down 50 percent of his 3-point attempts.

ABOUT THE TRITONS
- Eckerd won its sixth straight game on Saturday, holding off Claflin (S.C.) to match the program's longest winning streak since the 2012-13 season.
- The Tritons have thrived off a balanced offensive effort in the early season.  Six players average at least 8.0 points per game led by Jerrick Stevenson with 14.3 points per game.  E.J. Moody (10.6 ppg) and Drushaun McLaurn (10.1 ppg) also average in double figures.  EC has seen five different scoring leaders in seven games.
- Eckerd has shot the ball very well from behind the arc, coming into tonight's game at nearly a 40-percent clip (39.8).  Stevenson, Moody, Kevin Walsh and Bradley Reibel all average making at least one 3-pointer per game.
- The Tritons have also been dominant on the boards as they enter the night with a +7.9 rebounding margin, ranking 36th in Division II.

LOOKING BACK
Eckerd swept FIT last season, winning on the road on December 6, 2014, 78-70, before overcoming an 11-point deficit with 2:22 left to pick up a 60-57 win at home on January 31.
