SSC Tournament BracketST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The Eckerd College women's soccer team will head to the University of Tampa on Tuesday night for the opening round of the Sunshine State Conference Tournament.
With the whole team ready for the challenge, we scored an interview with Head Coach,
Danielle Fotopoulos and seniors,
Morgan Crescent and
Arie Anahory.
The Tritons earned the No. 5 seed in the tournament, finishing off the year with an 8-7-1 overall record and a 3-4-1 record in the SSC.
Eckerd is set to face the No. 4 seed, University of Tampa (12-3-3, 4-3-1 SSC) for the second time this season.
In their first matchup, the game ended in a 0-0 tie.
Tickets for the match will be sold at the gate prior to kickoff.
Ticket prices are as follows:
- Adults $8.00
- Youth (Age 13 – college) and Seniors (Age 65 and up) $5.00
- SSC institution students with proper SSC institutional ID, and children ages 12 and under Free
The match will take place at Pepin Stadium, located in downtown Tampa, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m.
