"February Madness" in Full Swing as Tritons Host SSC Postseason Matchups on "White Out Wednesday” Night
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Fans, parents, staff and alumni -- the postseason is finally here and the Eckerd College men's and women's basketball programs are looking to make a push towards a Sunshine State Conference Championship with your continued support!
In what is already going viral as "White Out Wednesday” in the McArthur Center, the Tritons' athletics department is requesting that all fans in the building wear white to cheer Eckerd onto another victory!
The No. 4-seeded EC (15-10, 8-8 SSC) women's squad plays host to No. 5 seed Nova Southeastern University (16-10, 8-8 SSC) at 5:30 p.m. before the No. 2-seeded EC (19-7, 11-5 SSC) men's program looks to take down No. 7 seed Barry University (12-16, 6-10 SSC) in the nightcap around 7:30 p.m.

As mandated by the Sunshine State Conference, admission for each game is broken down below:
All SSC students are admitted free with a valid ID from their institution. The general admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $5 for non-SSC students (ages 6-18). All Eckerd boosters, Teal & Steel Society members and families of EC basketball players, need to report to the prepaid ticket table set up on the sidewalk before the entrance.
A total of four quarterfinal matchups (each for men and women) will be going on around the league on Wednesday night with the four advancing winners moving on to the semis in Lakeland this weekend.
The SSC Championship games will be televised live on Sunday, March 4, on the Bright House Sports Network, available exclusively to Bright House Digital Cable subscribers on digital Channel 47. Viewers with HD televisions can watch the games on Channel 1147.
