COLUMBUS, Ga. – The Eckerd Tritons men's soccer team fell to the Montevallo Falcons 1-0 in their second game of the season Sunday.
“Our team fought really hard for each other today,” head coach Steve Magee said. “I'm really proud of our team for working hard until the final whistle but we just came up short today. The result was a little disappointing but we are ready for our next challenge.”
Montevallo's junior midfielder Phil Jackson scored in the 71st minute off a penalty kick.

Toni Virtanen was tested only twice by the Falcons and had one save.
