ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- The Eckerd Tritons women's soccer team will host the Eckerd Invitational this weekend at the Turley Athletic Complex.
The Tritons (1-1) will play Christian Brothers at 7 p.m. on Friday and will face North Alabama at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. Sunshine State Conference rival Lynn will also take part, playing North Alabama at 5 p.m. on Friday before meeting Christian Brothers at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
Eckerd enters the weekend on a high note, defeating Georgia Southwestern 2-1 last Sunday. Senior
Callie Pederson scored both goals, the first of her career, to help the Tritons pick up their first win of 2010.
EckerdTritons.com will offer audio streaming for both Triton games this weekend for $3.95 per game. Live stats will also be available for all four tournament matches.
