LAKELAND, Fla. - The Eckerd Men's Golf Team finished 15th out of a very deep field at the Matlock Invitational, hosted by Florida Southern College at the Lone Palm Golf Club. Georgia College won the tournament, shooting a three-round 863, just one stroke ahead of host Florida Southern.
Callum Georgallides led the Tritons, finishing 58th out of 74 golfers with a three-round 232 on the par-72, 7065-yard course.
Ryan Cuitino and
Paul Henderson finished two strokes behind Georgallides, with Cuitino carding a team-best 75 in the second round.
#C.J. Denmark
and Luca Bell# rounded out the Eckerd contingent, shooting 238 and 250, respectively.
Eckerd will return to the links on March 7 as it travels to Jacksonville Golf Club in Jacksonville, Fla. to compete in the 2010 North-South Collegiate Invitational.
