Jillian Kalvik

Kalvik was named Eckerd's assistant volleyball coach in March 2011 and specializes in attacking and blocking, while also serving as the event management coordinator for the spring sports.

In her first season on Head Coach Courtney Draper's staff, she helped lead the Tritons to their first-ever Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

Kalvik came to Eckerd following a three-year stint as an assistant coach at the University of Chicago. At UIC, Kalvik was part of a huge turnaround resulting in the program's first-ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

Prior to the University of Chicago, she was the head volleyball coach at Roosevelt High School (Minn.) for four seasons and also spent two years as an assistant coach for the Macalester College women's basketball team.

As a student-athlete, Kalvik was a Third-Team All-American selection at Division II Concordia (Minn.) University and led the Golden Bears to a runner-up finish in the 2003 NCAA Tournament.

She is ranked second on the school's all-time kills list as a middle hitter and also was a four-year letter winner on the Concordia basketball team.

Kalvik obtained her Master's Degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Chicago in the spring of 2012. She completed her undergraduate studies from Concordia with a degree in Finance in 2005.

Kalvik currently lives in St. Petersburg Beach.
