As one of the Eckerd's premier performers at the setter position, Smith ranks third all-time in career assists (2,357) and her 729 assists last fall ranks in the top 10 in single-season history.

A native of Highlands Ranch, Colo., Smith was a team captain and played in a total of 111 matches throughout her career.

Earlier this spring, Smith was honored as the female recipient of the James R. Harley Award Winner (highest award an Eckerd student-athlete can receive) and presented with the Triton Award (highest levels of athletic achievement, scholarship and leadership).

From 2008-12, Smith averaged 6.25 assists per set and tallied 666 total digs from the defensive side.

Smith graduated in the spring of 2012 from Eckerd with her degree in Biology. She currently resides in St. Petersburg.
