Emily joined the Sports Medicine department in the fall of 2021 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. 

She comes to Eckerd after spending the 2021 season as an intern with the New York Mets.  

Ray is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA). She holds certifications as a Red Cross Rescuer and Champion Performance Specialist (C-PS). 

She obtainer her bachelor of science in athletic training from Lindenwood University in 2019, where she was a member of the softball team, and her master's degree in sports administration from Belmont University, where she also spent a year as a graduate assistant.
