2011-12 (Senior): Second Team All-SSC…Recipient of the Triton Award at the end-of-the-year athletics banquet…Named the SSC Player of the Week (Jan. 23)…Finished three-year career at Eckerd ranking 19th among all-time scoring leaders with 694 points…Rates fifth all-time in career school history with 106 three pointers made…Ranks 20th all-time in free throws made with 146…Tied for 18th-best career free-throw percentage (.692)…Ranked fourth in the SSC in steals per game (2.2) while leading the team…Started all 26 games possible during her senior campaign…Led the team in shooting percentage, connecting on nearly 45 percent of her tries from the field…Converted 29 three-point field goals and averaged five rebounds per game at the guard position…Made 57 steals (14th-best total in single-season history) to also pace the squad and dished out 61 assists…Scored a career-high 25 points against Southern Connecticut State University (Dec. 19)…Came up with a career-best six steals against Nova Southeastern University (Dec. 10)…Shot a staggering 9-of-10 from the floor in just 20 minutes against Saint Leo University (Jan. 18) en route to 24 points.
2010-11 (Junior): Started every game for Tritons for second straight season, averaging 7.2 points and six rebounds per game...Was second on team in assists (73)...Scored season-high 17 points in upset win at nationally-ranked Rollins on Jan. 8...Scored in double figures eight times...Also had career-high 11 rebounds in victory at Palm Beach Atlantic on Jan. 26.
2009-10 (Sophomore): Started every game for Tritons, joining Ashley Lutz as the only players to start in all 25 contests...Averaged 8.7 points and was second on team in 3-pointer made (41)...Had career night in win over Flagler on Dec. 12, scoring 23 points on 7-for-10 shooting...Scored in double figures eight times...Finished second on squad in minutes played (32.8 per game).
Prior to Eckerd: Played one season at Carl Sandburg (Ill.) College, earning Second-Team All-Conference and All-Region honors for the Chargers...Played at Galesburg High School under Coach Evan Massey…Named a McDonald’s All-American nominee…Currently holds the school’s record for most career steals while ranking fourth in total assists, 10th in rebounds, and first in assist-to-turnover ratio…An All-State honorable mention while earning All-Conference honors.
Personal: Born on Dec. 20 in Hampton, Iowa…Daughter of Chuck and Beebe Young…Has an older sister (Mallory) and an older brother (Joe)...Names LeBron James as her favorite athlete and the Pittsburgh Steelers as her favorite team…Chose Eckerd because it felt like a good fit and she wanted to be challenged academically and athletically.
